My Neighbor has a large system on his home. He cannot run his home on 100% Solar. Cost him $30,000 to install. His savings is equal to his monthly payment . His entire home is electric, heat etc. He has no excess to sell back to the electric company so he basically breaks even unless he needs costly repair.
